How TIPP works
Register at any time. You can enroll in TIPP whenever it works best for you.
Payments begin the 15th of the month (or following 15th, depending on when your application is received). No payment is withdrawn immediately upon registration.
Payments are made in equal installments. Your annual taxes are divided into manageable monthly payments.
The goal is to owe nothing the following year. By paying throughout the year, you can reduce or eliminate the amount owing when next year’s taxes are due.
Apply early to lower your payments
The earlier you apply, the more months are available to spread your taxes across. This means your monthly payments will generally be lower than if you join later in the year.
For example, if you join near the beginning of the year, your tax amount can be divided over more installments. If you join later, the remaining balance may need to be spread over fewer payments.
When will my payments be withdrawn?
All TIPP payments are withdrawn on the 15th of each month. If you register during the month, but it is close to the 15th, your first payment will not be taken until the 15th of the following month.
Example
If you register on July 13, your first TIPP payment will be withdrawn on August 15.
