Public Notice: Update on Local Restrictions and Burn Permits
Level 1: High Risk - FULL Fire Ban in Place
All fires prohibited within the RM at ALL hours. Fires in approved CSA certified fire pit (this includes campfires and burn barrels) are also PROHIBITED
ALL motorized backcountry travel,including ATVs and other off-road vehicles, is prohibited during this fire ban.
As a further fire prevention measure, burn permits issued are cancelled and will not be issued until fire danger conditions improve. Further restrictions may be implemented if the fire danger levels increase, or conditions change significantly.
