- Where can I submit my water readings? You can now submit your water readings HERE. The forms is also now under "Online Forms" on the Home page Quick Links.
- Who do I call for injured wildlife? Please contact Conservation at: 204-726-6441
- Who do I contact for garbage pickup or if my bins are damaged and need replaced? Municipal garbage & recycling pickup is located in Chater, Curtis Road South, Cottonwood, and Spruce Woods. However, most residents can inquire about the availability of these services in your are, for the same rate as the municipal pickup locations. For residents on Grand Valley Road and area: Overland Waste & Recycling - 204-727-0733, all other areas please contact: MWM Environmental - 204-483-3986. Replacement bins are available by contacting these companies as well.
- Where is the garbage and recycling schedule? You can access the most recent schedule by clicking RM of Cornwallis Schedule.pdf, or you can also access it through the "Residents" page, under "Municipal Services".
- Do you offer water testing? We do not offer the water testing ourselves but, we do have the water bottles and forms you need. You will have to contact Horizon Labs for all questions regarding the sample process. Instructions on how to do the sampling and shipping is on the form as well Horizon Lab Test Request.pdf **We do not accept any payments on behalf of the lab or are responsible for this program, we only provide the bottles and forms for you to take home.
- When are taxes due? When are Supplementary taxes due? Property taxes are due September 30th and Supplementary taxes are due December 31.
- I have issues with my property assessment, who do I contact? All questions regarding your assessment please contact the District Assessment Office: (Brandon) 204-726-6001 or (Toll Free) 1-866-262-9867. The District Assessment Office is located at 340 - 9th Street, Brandon. Email - assessment@gov.gov.mb.ca.
- Who do I contact if I have issues with the school taxes? The RM of Cornwallis is not responsible for the school fee portion of your taxes. - I need a civic sign (blue sign), who do I contact? You can contact our Public Works Department - 204-725-8686 or info@gov.cornwallis.mb.ca
- There are trees touching the hydro wire or tress have been cut down and left on the ground, who do I contact? You need to contact Manitoba Hydro Trees and power lines and Tree safety assessment request
- There is a light out on my street/area, who do I contact? You will need to contact Manitoba Hydro How to report a street light outage
