ATTENTION CHATER RESIDENTS: RE NEW SEWER RATES!!

Attention Chater Residents

The Public Utilities Board (PUB) has approved interim sewer rates for properties connected to the municipal sewage collection system.

The first sewer charge will appear on the September month-end quarterly utility bill. This charge will be based on water usage from July 1 to September 30.

Please note: You will only be charged the sewer rate if your property is connected to the municipal sewer system.

New sewer rates:

$3.01/m³ water usage (min. $42.14/Quarter)

EXAMPLE:

1. 14m³ or less of water usage = $42.14
2. 20m³ of water usage = 20 x $3.01 = $60.20
