RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF CORNWALLIS PUBLIC HEARING Minutes of Public Hearing held in the Council Chambers of the Municipality on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. PRESENT: Reeve Kurt Wasserberg Councillor Emil Egert, Ward One Councillor Bob Brown, Ward Two Councillor Sam Hofer, Ward Three Councillor Heather Dalgleish, Ward Four Councillor Mike Cranford, Ward Five Councillor Valerie Thoman, Ward Six Chief Administrative Officer, Bob Wallis Administrative Assistant, Shelley Livingstone A Public Hearing in accordance with subsection 162(2) of The Municipal Act was held at 7:05 p.m. for the Rural Municipality of Cornwallis' Financial Plan for the fiscal year 2008. Public Hearings under the RM of Cornwallis Zoning By-law No.1558/09/99 as amended, were held for the following applications: 7:15 P.M. - Conditional Use Application No. C-6-08-C, being an application to allow for a non-farm dwelling in the "AG80" Agricultural General Zone at Pt. SW ¼ 11-9-19 WPM 7:20 P.M. - Conditional Use Application No. C-5-08-C, being an application to allow for a non-farm dwelling in the "AG80" Agricultural General Zone at Pt. NE ¼ 24-10-18 WPM 7:25 P.M. - Conditional Use Application No. C-4-08-C, being an application to allow for a boarding kennel in the "AG80" Agricultural General Zone at Pt. SE ¼ 16-10-17 WPM 7:32 P.M. - Application to Subdivide No 4116-08-393, Pcl A, Plan 1279 BLTO, Pt. NE ¼ 27-10-18 W, Hladky, being an application that will result in the creation of a new public road. IN THE MATTER OF THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF CORNWALLIS' 2008 FINANCIAL PLAN There was no representation made from the general public in favour or in opposition to the 2008 Financial Plan The 2008 Financial Plan was adopted by Resolution No. 119/2008 IN THE MATTER OF THE CONDITIONAL USE ORDER APPLICATION NO. C-4-08-C Ms. Kim Thrush spoke in favour of her application and distributed a new plan to the Council Members. Mr. Dan McPherson, BAPD, was present to respond to inquiries. Conditional Use Order Application No. C-4-08-C was approved by Resolution No. 128/2008. IN THE MATTER OF THE CONDITIONAL USE ORDER APPLICATION NO. C-5-08-C There were no presentations with respect to this application. Mr. Dan McPherson, BAPD, was present to respond to inquiries. Conditional Use Order Application No. C-5-08-C was approved by Resolution No.125/2008. IN THE MATTER OF THE CONDITIONAL USE ORDER APPLICATION NO. C-6-08-C Mr. Roy Leitch spoke in opposition to the application. Mr. Dan McPherson, BAPD, was present and provided some background information about the application. Conditional Use Order Application No. C-6-08-C was approved by Resolution No. 122/2008. IN THE MATTER OF THE SUBDIVISION APPLICATION NO. 4116-08-393 Mr. David Swazye was present and addressed Council on behalf of Ted Hladky's proposed application. Mr. John Pelletier was present and spoke in favor of the application. Mr. Jack Elves was present and spoke in favor of the application. Mr. Dan McPherson, BAPD, was present to answer inquiries. The hearing was closed and Subdivision Application No. 4116-08-393 was tabled by Resolution No. 132/2008.
